Member of the rock band BOOM BOOM SATELLITES, formed by 中野雅之 and 川島道行, who debuted in Europe in 1997.
A leading Japanese creator whose 12-inch single released in Europe prompted UK music magazine 「Melody Maker」 to report '', and whose 「Joyride」 also won Single of the Week from NME magazine.
Enhanced reputation as a live band through performances at Glastonbury and tours across Europe and the US with artists like Underworld and Moby, serving as a headliner at domestic festivals in Japan. Handled the music for the 2004 film 『APPLESEED』 which became a hot topic, and continued to evolve; the album ｢FULL OF ELEVATING PLEASURES｣ released in 2005 was also released throughout North America and ranked high on the CMJ (college radio) chart.
Subsequently, the song 「Scatterin'Monkey」 was featured in key scenes of director Luc Besson's film ｢YAMAKASI｣ and the Academy Award-winning film ｢The Dark Knight｣.
In October 2016, 川島道行 passed away, and after releasing 「LAY YOUR HANDS ON ME」 as the final audio work, he began activities as a producer. He has handled diverse sound production work, including producing artists active in the Japanese pop scene such as MAN WITH A MISSION, DAOKO, and milet, as well as producing character voices POPY and ROSE for the voice synthesis software Synthesizer V.

Starting in 2020 with THE SPELLBOUND, a rock band that marks the second chapter of BOOM BOOM SATELLITES, and continuing through 2025, he continues to create unique music that transcends both electronic and rock elements as both a producer and rock band member.
