Changelog

Recent user-facing releases and fixes. Internal scaffolding commits are omitted; the full commit log lives on GitHub at bangdream-NA/bandori-fans.

2026-06

  • Community setlist crowdsourcing is live — submit a setlist on any event page; it updates the database after review
  • Event detail now shows operational info: merch / priority-entry tickets / bonuses (from bang-dream.com)
  • Event detail now shows a dynamic ticket-window status badge (on sale / ended)
  • Venue detail greatly enriched: building photo (CC-BY-SA credited), seat-map link, an "events held here" count, and venue-name + map links
  • Added building photos and base location / address data for ~39 venues
  • Calendar subscription (ICS) now supports per-category filtering with a 10-kind chooser
  • CD first-press lottery tickets and their corresponding lives are now cross-linked
  • New "Friend Links" nav tab and friend-links page
  • Site-wide ⌘K / Ctrl+K search shortcut (auto-adapts the Mac / Windows hint glyph)
  • Event pages now carry richer structured data (performer / image / location) for better search-engine indexing
  • Terms of Service expanded to 15 sections with a two-form consent flow
  • New site favicon
  • Home strip, spotlight, and calendar data are now fully in sync — fixes the home-calendar desync
  • Every row in the calendar "on sale" list now links to its event correctly — fixes dead links
  • Public-corrections apply path fixed — venue-name and other corrections now take effect after review
  • Events with no setlist now show a friendly "add the setlist" invite button
  • Releases library drops a redundant band filter; quick-access count labels are more honest (no more "latest" on a full-catalog total)
  • News page count matches the paginator total; external links now show a host label (fixes narrow-screen overflow)
  • Many band chips, count badges, and error text now meet WCAG AA contrast (readable in dark mode too)
  • List filters (event time / band status) are now single-select exclusive
  • Mobile improvements: masthead no longer clipped, locale switcher fits narrow screens, long titles wrap correctly, search no longer overflows horizontally, plus a sort affordance and larger tap targets
  • Error and not-found pages now have trilingual buttons + dark-theme support
  • Several accessibility improvements: focus moves on correction-form success, clickable rows restore table semantics, calendar nav landmark, character-attendance row structure, and list rows announce the full title
  • The anniversaries page no longer mixes in ticket-window events; future or unresolvable events hide the setlist-submission entry
  • Performance: self-hosted per-locale fonts, removed unused code and the compiler, optimized first paint and image loading

2026-05

  • Event detail pages now show "artists appearing in this set" and five additional loose-end columns
  • Character detail pages split family + given name and show readings; lyricists and composers get the same treatment
  • Band detail pages cross-link to series and cross-band artist series
  • All detail pages now share a unified entity-sources footer badge
  • Band detail pages now show a lineup timeline from artist_configurations
  • Song list and detail surface multi-locale titles and romaji
  • Venue detail pages cross-link to events held at that venue
  • New /random route: jump to a randomly chosen entity
  • Three production fixes: LiveSpotlight, WhatDay, and BandSwitcher accent fallback
  • Slug matching now accepts both encoded and decoded forms, fixing several CJK 404s
  • /cast/[slug] now 308-redirects to the unified /voice-actors/[slug] route
  • News detail pages adopt the unified bf-detail-page chrome
  • Videogram card links now route into /releases correctly
  • List headers, filter chips, and enum cells fully internationalized
  • Home page SSR error (digest 68744793) in production resolved
  • Behind the scenes, the data pipeline that keeps the archive up to date was modernized
  • The not-found page now offers browsing links so a missing URL is a starting point, not a dead end
  • "Today" on the calendar and anniversary pages now follows Japan time, so the day rolls over consistently
  • Setlist pages group songs under each performance's own title
  • Not-found page navigation links are now comfortable, full-size touch targets on phones
  • Song detail pages no longer list the same performance more than once
  • Venue pages now use readable URLs (e.g. /venues/crypto-com-arena)
  • Voice-actor and member database cards show honest "N bands · M people" counts
  • The news filter is upgraded to nine finer categories
  • Songs added as a sixth Database hub card
  • A public correction form is now live at /contribute/fix — submissions are reviewed before any data changes

2026-04 — 2026-03

  • Ten v1 sub-database list and detail pages rewritten to match the original prototype 1:1
  • Internal worker-to-pages fetch now routed via workers.dev to bypass same-zone silent data loss on Cloudflare
  • VPS auto-deploy restored: worker and pages now roll automatically on push to main
  • Detail-page depth audit: CD versions, voice-actor history, multi-artist appearances, song appears_on / performed_at cross-links
  • Route consolidation: /cast → /voice-actors and /characters/[id] → /character/[slug]
  • R-data.10 series: gap analysis between v1 schema and rendered pages, with link-render quick wins

2026-02

  • Source policy documentation (docs/source-policy.md) plus per-source ToS / robots.txt snapshots added
  • BanG Dream! Project derivative-works guideline safe-harbor reference incorporated and disclosed
