長谷川白紙 is a musician based in Japan.

Creator Comment

Following POPY, I also had the opportunity to create a song with ROSE. What is rarely interesting and simultaneously terrifying about voice synthesis software is perhaps the point that diverse creators can inscribe narratives toward a single archetypal representation.

The foundational concept I employ is

——the instability in the confrontation between 「本物」 and 「偽物」——

inherited as-is from my previous work with POPY, but I wondered if I could establish a narrative for these newly inscribed stories. And perhaps that had to be something that could be heard not as the original, but as an allegory, or even sometimes as a memorial tablet. Production proceeded amid questions that seemed infinite, like 「Is it possible?」, but I believe I was able to exhaust sound and language for that purpose. It's a fun song! Thank you very much! ♪υ∵υ◝੭ ♪
